Anyone who finds their mp3 player dock a little boring might want to see if the latest innovation from Japan makes it to the UK.
Tiger Electronics and Sega Toys have teamed up to create a remote control robot which features a built in speaker.
Consumers will be able to plug their mp3 player in to the device, secure it to the robot and then use a remote control to direct the Automated Music Personality (AMP).
Duncan Billing, global development officer for Tiger’s parent firm Hasbro, said: "You’ll feel the beat as AMP delivers powerful stereo sound through a 5" mid-range speaker and two high output tweeters.
"AMP’s Dynamic Balancing Technology enables him to dance and roll balanced on two wheels."
The device should be on sale in Japan and the USA in October.
Yesterday, the Independent dubbed the Gear4 Duo mp3 player as the "Best Luxury Buy" for anyone looking to invest in some mini-speakers.
