Pioneer has launched its latest flagship plasma TV, it has been reported.
According to cdfreaks.com the firm is preparing to ship a new 60-inch version of its popular Kuro range of televisions.
The KRP-600M has full HD technology and the firm also states that it has been able to improve black levels on the set, something that the range had previously been criticised for.
As well as this, the TV also features an Ethernet connection, a video input, a DVI-D input and consumers can also connect their PC to the device if they so require.
The firm will also release a 50-inch version of the set, the KPP-500M, by the end of the year, the news provider predicts.
However, the new sets will have to compete with the Samsung LN52A750 which, according to HDTV News, has "the smoothest, most lifelike image around".
The set also makes it easy for people to connect their home cinema to the telly, the website added.
