Panasonic’s TH-37PX80 has won a new group test analysing the best 37-inch LCD and plasma televisions available in the UK.
AVReview.co.uk stated that the plasma system was rated as the best out of four models for its "effortlessly deep black levels, great colours and near-flawless motion handling".
Second in the test by the website’s John Archer was the LG 37LT75, which was praised for its "immaculate recordings" and the quality of its standard definition recording.
The third-placed television, the Hitachi L37X01, was also welcomed by the writer for the features it offers consumers for £800.
In conclusion, Mr Archer added: "It’s nice to take away as the main theme to emerge from this group test the fact that you really don’t have to spend megabucks to get a very respectable 37-inch TV indeed."
HDTV News recently praised Panasonic’s TH-42PZ85U plasma television, describing the system as arguably "the most detailed plasma TV in the world".
