A new mp3 player designed to commemorate the inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th US president has been unveiled.
Promo Ideation is behind the new special edition 1GB device, which features a picture of the politician on its main three-button interface.
It also comes pre-loaded with seven of the president-elect’s most famous speeches for supporters to enjoy regularly.
Dan Safkow, founder of Promo Ideation, said the model highlighted the "the emergence of portable media as a lifestyle solution for continuing education and other non-music applications".
He added: "Even though the Barack Obama mp3 player is billed as a ‘collectors’ item’, I fully expect his enthusiastic followers to use it to listen to his inspiring words on a daily basis."
Details about the special edition of the device have come after two major toy companies announced plans to launch their first mp3 players.
Lego and Crayola are expected to release the systems later this year.
