Nikon has added six new models to its Coolpix range of compact digital cameras.
Available features within the line include a touch screen, Wi-Fi capability and built-in GPS, according to Brian Bennett of PC magazine.
He states that the Coolpix S60 is the start of the show, describing it as "trim and svelte".
It offers ten megapixels, a 5x zoom and HDMI connectivity, Mr Bennett adds, as well a "huge" 3.5-inch touch screen.
The Coolpix S610c includes a 28mm wide angle lens and Wi-Fi capability so pictures can be emailed directly from the camera.
Flagship model the S710 has an "incredibly sharp" 14.5-megapixel sensor and ISO settings up to 12,800, while the P6000 has GPS built-in and an Ethernet port, Mr Bennett writes.
Those looking for an entry-level digital camera might want to consider the Canon PowerShot A590IS, which features image stabilisation and manual controls.
