The latest DVD player from Pioneer is "slim and snazzy" according to one reviewer.
Writing for Trusted Reviews, Danny Phillips also states that the DV-410+V offers excellent value for money.
He said: "Picture and sound quality are impressive and there are more features on offer than you’d normally get for £90 - but if that price still seems steep remember that you’re getting a player from [a] reputable and reliable manufacturer whose products stand the test of time."
The device also offers support for a wide range of compressed file formats including WMV9 and DivX files, he added.
Geeks should find the look of the machine appealing, Mr Phillips stated.
Last week, iLuv launched a new DVD player which comes with a built-in iPod dock.
According to the firm, the i1255 has been designed to make it easier for people to enjoy both music and film and is a small and sleek device.
