Denon’s DN-S1000 packs a lot of "scratchability" into its condensed frame, according to one technology news website.
Audio News reports that the device is a small CD and mp3 player which packs a lot in and has been carefully fine-tuned to meet the needs of DJs.
It measures 8.5 x 8.5 x 3.5 inches and weighs around eight pounds.
The review states the DN-S1000 functions without any kind of problems, digital stalls or lag time, and is "surprisingly" accurate and responsive in terms of DJing and scratching.
It notes that the device allows users to comfortably scratch, add effects and do real-time looping as well as play tracks.
The report concludes: "The Denon DN-S1000 is an amazing and impressive compact scratch CD/mp3 player which will easily sneak into places where bigger music players would be cumbersome and unwieldy."
It adds that nothing available today can match the quality and features offered by this device.
Denon was founded in 1910.
