It was announced yesterday (October 14th) that the BBC is expanding its popular iPlayer service to the media player market, according to one technology news website.
T3 Magazine reports Sony is the first to strike while the iron is hot and has announced download capability for its latest mp3 players.
According to the site, the firm’s new Walkman S series and E series mp3 players will give users the opportunity to watch episodes of their favourite BBC programmes.
"Sony [has] stolen a march on [its] rivals with the prized possession of iPlayer compatibility, which will surely ensue in some schoolyard style boasting," the site notes.
Meanwhile, Product Reviews Net reports that consumers looking for a good quality notebook for a good price should consider refurbished laptops.
The site claims the Sony VAIO VGN-AR605E Core 2 Duo 17-inch Notebook with HDMI is a good example of this.
