Electronics manufacturer HANNspree has announced the launch of a new LCD TV system.
According to the company, its new HT09 model is the world’s first 28-inch widescreen system to feature a full high-definition resolution.
It also includes an aspect ratio of 16:10, as well as a built-in digital tuner, two HDMI ports and VGA connectivity.
In a statement, the company claimed that the system "addresses a market need for a sleek, feature-rich high-end LCD HDTV".
The firm added that the device "re-affirms its commitment of offering a wide range of consumer electronics products that are innovative in both function and design, and deliver a strong price-performance proposition".
Rival electronics manufacturer Sharp recently unveiled its new Aquos DX series of LCD TVs.
The range, which consists of 16 models with screen sizes ranging from 26 to 52 inches, features built-in Blu-ray disc recorders.
According to the company, each of the systems can support 5x extended high definition video recording.
