TomTom has announced it is to update models in its One and XL GPS navigation series.
Due to be on sale in the US next month, the new TomTom One 130/ONE 130S and the TomTom XL 330/XL 330S will replace the current TomTom ONE 3rd Edition and the TomTom XL, cNet reports.
Both have 3.5-inch screens and include an EasyPort mount, which can be kept attached to the GPS and fitted into a trouser pocket when folded down.
The 130S adds to its previous model with text-to-speech capabilities for street pronunciations, while the XL 330S also has text-to-speech directions which the XL 330 does not.
"The distinctive design of the new TomTom One and TomTom XL, with the convenience of the EasyPort mounting solution, will set them apart from other devices on the market, and will appeal to customers looking for a compact, smart, ultra-portable solution without compromising quality or features," said Jocelyn Vigreux, President of TomTom Inc.
