Disney has launched its Mplayer media player, according to one technology news website.
PC Advisor reports that the 1GB mp3 player is manufacturerd by iRiver and is shaped like Mickey Mouse’s head.
The device is available in seven colours - including blue, red, pink and brown - and is "clearly" aimed at kids.
It measures at 44 by 40 by 30 millimetres and weighs 17 grams.
The review states: "The Disney Mplayer easily fitted into the palm of our hand. It features two ears. The headphones are inserted into the top of Mickey’s head and the power button on the side of the device turns it on and off."
It added that music is easy to transfer onto the device as it connects to a computer via a USB lead and then mp3 or WMA files can be dragged across and dropped onto the device.
The Walt Disney Company was founded as a cartoon studio in 1923.
