Nikon’s Coolpix S210 digital camera could be "just the ticket" for consumers, according to a review.
Kathleen Cullen from PCWorld.com reports that the camera, which has a 3x optical zoom, is "extremely easy to use".
During tests, the reviewer found the battery life of the device to be "decent", with a single charge managing to take 283 shots.
However, the shutter delay on the Coolpix S210 was found to be frustrating, according to the writer, who commented that it occasionally resulted in "missed opportunities" or "blurred images".
The Nikon Coolpix S210, which retails for £150, has a "cool time-lapse feature" called best shot selector, said Ms Cullen.
"This cranks out ten shots while you hold down the trigger, and then saves the sharpest frame that you’ve recorded," she explained.
Gavin Stoker from Macworld.co.uk recently described Nikon’s Coolpix P80 as a "competent all-round" camera in a review, praising it for the "plenty of detail" it packs into shots.
