Canon’s PowerShot A590 IS digital camera "produces high quality images", according to a new review.
Alexa Wriggins from PC World said that the device contains a lot of features "for a bargain-bin price".
The PowerShot A590 IS has an eight-megapixel resolution, complete with a 4x optical zoom.
In image-quality assessments, the writer explains that the camera scored "significantly higher" than devices which cost more than double the amount, noting that the "superior colours" and "flash exposures" were particularly impressive.
"We tried desperately to take a blurry picture - and failed," explained Ms Wriggins.
"No matter how hard we shook that camera or how much my subjects shimmied, we couldn’t induce a blurry image."
Canon recently revealed that it had sold its 100 millionth compact digital camera during August, ranking it second in global sales behind Sony.
