Creative’s Zen Nano Plus turned in great results in audio-quality tests, according to one technology news website.
PC World reports that at $109 (£55) the device is an "inexpensive" flash-based mp3 player and is quite well featured.
The website states the device includes an FM tuner and records from a variety of sources including FM radio, an internal microphone and a line-in port.
Reviewer Eric Dahl claims the device delivers top-of-the-line audio quality fort a low price.
"In our audio-quality tests, the Zen Nano Plus produced less distortion and noise than almost all the other flash-based players, and earned the highest overall score for audio quality in this category," he added.
The review noted the player uses a standard min-USB port which allows the syncing of tracks via USB 2.0 where files can be "simply" dragged to the device.
Meanwhile, Laptop Mag reports the Creative Zen Mozaic is an aggressively priced mp3 player with a child-friendly look.
