The processing capabilities of Casio’s Exilim Pro EX-F1 have been described in a new review as "undeniably fast".
Paul Monckton of Personal Computer World has stated that the speed is provided by the camera’s six-megapixel sensor, which he stated is "quite low" by regular standards.
Writing for the website, he added that the model’s 12x optical zoom was "undeniably powerful", but warned that some people may not find the picture quality matches their expectations.
"There’s a tremendous amount of fun to be had with the Pro EX-F1 and its unique capabilities place it in a class of its own, opening up creative possibilities that simply aren’t possible on any other similarly priced camera," he wrote.
"While it may not have the best image quality we’ve seen, nothing can touch it when it comes to capturing action shots – at a price."
Panasonic recently announced the launch of a new digital camera.
The company’s Lumix DMC-G1 device has been described as the world’s smallest and lightest device of its kind to feature an interchangeable lens system.
