The new Casio EX-FC100 digital camera boasts some "pretty impressive" features, according to a preview.
Stuart Miles of Pocket-lint.co.uk particularly praised the compact device’s ’slow’ button, which gives users the chance to slow down action shown on its 2.7-inch screen and easily pick the shot they would like.
He also suggested that another "clear selling point" for the system was its 30 frames per second capture rate in still mode, as well as its rate of 1,000 frames per second for video.
"If the picture quality in the final model matches up to the performance on the show floor, this has the potential to change the way you take photographs," he added.
Panasonic recently announced the launch of a new 8.1-megapixel digital camera powered by AA batteries.
The company’s Lumix DMC-LS85 includes 4x optimal zoom and a 2.5-inch LCD display, while it also features its F2.8 quality DC Vario lens.
