Bose has released a new docking system that works with both the iPod and iPhone.
The SoundDock series II digital music system features a new auxiliary input that allows connection to other devices such as an mp3 player, portable CD player or music-enabled phone, according to Smart house.
Bose has updated the device’s design in line with its "distinctive" SoundDock portable digital music systems.
The website claims the device provides "dock-and-play simplicity" and can charge an iPod or iPhone while in use.
It works with most iPods, including the touch, click wheels, nano, mini, photo, video and classic models and is available in gloss black.
"Using an integrated systems approach, all elements of the SoundDock series II system were engineered to work together to produce high-quality sound from a sleek, compact package," Mike Wheeler wrote.
Bose was founded in 1964.
