Toshiba has revealed it is adding two new laptops to its Tecra series of portable computer systems.
Named the A10 and M10, the new systems both feature Intel’s Centrino 2 vPro while also boast dual-layer Super Multi DVD drives, as well as Bluetooth and wireless technology.
In addition, they also include the manufacturer’s EasyGuard technology to protect sensitive data, 8GB of DDR2 RAM and HDD capacities of around 250GB.
The key difference between the systems it that the A10 features a 15-inch display, compared to the M10’s 14-inch screen.
According to reports online, the former is set to retail for around £500, with the latter starting at over £550.
Details about the new laptops have been released after Toshiba also recently added a new system to its Qosmio range of portable workstations.
The Qosmio F55 includes a 15.4-inch screen and built-in GPS functionality designed by sat-nav manufacturer Garmin.
It also has Intel Core 2 Duo technology and Nvidia graphics capabilities.
