Toshiba Satellite A300-177 ‘has good features’

The latest laptop from Toshiba might not be a groundbreaking device but it still performs well, according to one reviewer.

Writing for Trusted Reviews, Ardjuna Seghers states that while it is not the best looking device out there, the Satellite A300-177 does have a good selection of features.

He said: "The A300-177’s specifications don’t leave you wanting, however, with 2GB of RAM and a generous 200GB hard drive providing ample storage, while the T5550 Intel Core 2 Duo zips along at 1.83GHz."

This means that the laptop is "fast enough" in most scenarios, he added.

Portability should not be an issue with the computer weighing in at an "average" 2.9 kilograms, Mr Seghers points out.

The device also has some of the best built-in speakers available on a laptop, he states.

However, anyone who wants a portable computer for playing games might want to take a look at the redesigned Alienware 51 m15x which, according to the firm, is one of the most identifiable laptops around.
