The company’s new Satellite A350 portable computer system is capable of producing a high definition resolution of 1366 x 768 on its widescreen TFT TruBrite display and includes a 320GB hard drive and either Intel or AMD processors.
It also boasts a range of connectivity, such as three USB ports, while integrated Harmon Kardon speakers and a Super-Multi DVD drive are also featured.
A 1.3-megapixel camera and a microphone are also included.
The laptop is set to be available in the firm’s ‘cosmic black’ design and will be available from around £530.
Rival electronics company Lenovo recently also launched its first 16-inch widescreen laptop, the Y650.
The device has been added to the company’s IdeaPad alongside the Y550 and Y450, while each of portable computer systems also include a 500GB hard drive and 4GB of DDR3 memory.
