The new X360 laptop from Samsung includes "many admirable qualities", according to a review.
Andy Vandervell of TrustedReviews said that while it is not yet in a position to compete with "the heavyweights" of the portable computer world, the system is a "powerful ultra-portable but can’t afford the alternatives".
He explained that the 13.3-inch laptop is a "well specified", featuring battery life of almost five hours, a 128GB solid state drive and a useful layout.
"As seems tradition in designer machines like this, Samsung has employed an isolated style keyboard and it’s an absolute peach," he wrote.
"Keys have just the right amount of travel and feature a nice, light and crisp action that makes typing effortless."
Fujitsu Siemens recently announced plans to offer its customers free replacement upgrades every three years for life.
The scheme is expected to be available for anyone who buys one of the company’s Lifebook range between now and April.
