Samsung has unveiled the latest addition to its range of PC laptops, it has been announced.
Tech Radar was granted a sneak peak of the R410 at Samsung’s South Korean headquarters.
Writing for the website, Dan Grabham reveals that the specs of the model he was shown features 2GB of RAM, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and an ATI Radeon Express graphics card.
"The R410 can also employ any chip from an Intel Celeron T1400 right up to an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 - exact UK specifications to be confirmed," he said.
The laptop is not as lightweight as some models with the 14.1-inch screen device weighing in at around 2.5 kilograms, "a little on the heavy said", he added.
According to Samsung the laptop should cost just under £500 when it goes on sale.
The device will have to compete with the HP 2133, which the Daily Telegraph recently named as a best buy.
