The latest laptop from Samsung has the MacBook Air firmly in its sights, according to one expert.
Writing for Trusted Reviews, Riyad Emeran explains that the Korean firm has dubbed the X360 notebook "lighter than air, something he believes is a clear sign the computer is aimed at taking on the Apple device.
Although the Samsung computer is around a centimetre thicker than the MacBook, it offers a wider range of features, Mr Emeran points out.
These include a good quality 13.3-inch screen, 1.3-megapixel webcam and a dual-core processor.
It will also ship with an external DVD drive, something which the MacBook Air does not, he states.
"It’s hard to imagine the X360 not being a success. Samsung has ticked all the right feature boxes, and still managed to bring the thing in at an amazing price," Mr Emeran says.
Meanwhile, PC Pro has described the Toshiba Qosmio F50-10Z as "exciting".
