A new laptop produced by Samsung is being prepared for its imminent UK launch.
BT has confirmed that the company’s NC20 portable computer is now available to pre-order, with it set to be available in white later this month.
A black version of the laptop, which includes a 12.1-inch display, Windows XP Home Edition and a 1.3GHz Via Nano U225 CPU processor, will be launched towards the start of March.
The system, which is priced at just under £400, also includes Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 1GB hard drive and a six-cell battery.
Details about the NC20’s launch have come after a rival computer manufacturer confirmed that one of its models is set to get a touchscreen option.
The new display controls on the upgraded Panasonic Toughbook 52 can be accessed using a stylus, while the screen also includes anti-glare and anti-reflective features.
In addition, the model features expanded memory and improved security.
