The latest laptops from Panasonic are "aimed at the pathologically clumsy", according to one tech website.
Cnet reports that the CF-W8, CF-T8 and CF-F8 are all ‘business-ruggedised’ meaning they can withstand everyday knocks.
However, this is not the most attractive element of the computers, the website states.
"Their biggest draw is their comparatively low weight," it states.
The largest of the computers weighs 1.6 kilograms (kg), which is less than the new MacBook Air.
"Despite their size and weight, all three are hard as nails, capable of withstanding 100kg of pressure on their lids and drops from 76cm (2.5 feet) in the air — while switched on," it adds.
Meanwhile, the news provider also reports that Intel is working on new cooling technology which could allow the creation of even thinner laptops.
According to the firm, its new system will make sure the casing of the computers does not get so hot they cannot be used.
