Packard Bell launches new laptops IT developers Packard Bell have revealed a new design for its popular EasyNote series.

Slash Gear reports the manufacturer has been previewing the EasyNote RS65 which comes in six different versions.

The RS65 edition uses an Intel Centrino 2 processor and features a video card which can be turned off to save battery life.

The site reports: "The SL81 uses AMD’s recently announced Puma platform, including a Radeon graphics card with PowerXpress Hybrid CrossfireX that, like in the RS65, can be switched off to save power."

MT and ST versions of the series include the new Intel Centrino 2 Montevina processor unit and switchable graphics capabilities.

Packard Bell recently won five prestigious consumer sector Plus X Awards at a ceremony in Germany.
The company also builds the Maestro series of monitors, featuring 19-inch screens and 16.2 million display colours, and the imedia desktop computer series using Windows Vista operating software.
