Packard Bell laptop to get UK launchA leading computer manufacturer has revealed it is set to launch a gaming laptop in the UK.

Packard Bell’s iPower GX system was originally unveiled by the company a few months ago, but is set to be available on British shores for the first time at the start of next year.

According to Pocket-lint.co.uk, the system includes a 17-inch high-definition display, as well as Intel’s Core 2 Duo Quad processor Q9100.

Its casing also features a graffiti design, while it boasts USB, Bluetooth and FireWire connectivity.

Prices for the computer, which includes 640GB of storage space, are expected to start at around £1,000.

Hewlett Packard recently also announced the launch of a new laptop.

The computer manufacturer’s TouchSmart tx2 notebook PC features a 12-inch touchscreen display designed to make it easier for people to access files when on the move.

Built to support Windows Vista Home Premium, the system includes the AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile Processor.
