Toshiba’s Satellite Pro P300-14P is "a lot of laptop for not a lot of money" according to a new review.
Andrew Harrison from PC Advisor says that the device’s 17-inch screen is "about as big as you are likely to get" for its price-tag of £400.
The Satellite Pro P300-14P has a 1.73GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and 1GB of RAM, which the reviewer said could be improved and recommends upgrading to 2GB "at the earliest opportunity".
Mr Harrison adds that the device has "all the major facilities" needed from a laptop, including USB ports, FireWire and SD card expansion ports.
"Toshiba has elected to fit a complete numeric keypad to the right of the Toshiba Satellite Pro P300-14P’s standard qwerty keyboard, resulting in the trackpad being sited off-centre so that it sits naturally below the spacebar," writes the reviewer.
Toshiba recently unveiled its new 32GB flash memory SD cards which are designed for use in devices including mobile phones, digital cameras and camcorders.
