Mobile phone operator Orange is to include laptops with its new mobile broadband packages.
Priced at £25 a month, the Connected Laptop packages will bundle an Asus Eee PC 900 notebook while HP laptops will be on offer with business contracts priced between £35 and £45 a month.
According to zdnet.co.uk, customers on the £25 package will be given dongle with a 3GB data allowance and 100 texts from their laptop.
Orange’s £35 and £40 a month deals will also include dongles while its £45 package offers a HP laptop with an embedded Orange SIM.
Francois Mahieu, Orange UK’s devices director, said: "Over time, we will be looking to expand our offering even further, with more suppliers who are at the forefront of laptop technology, making it even easier for our customers to connect to the internet seamlessly, whether it is for work or play."
The move follows Carphone Warehouse’s decision to offer an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop with some of its monthly mobile contracts.
