People attracted to the compact form of the Asus Eee PC but after "real laptop performance" may be interested in the Kohjinsha SX Series, one reviewer has claimed.
Michael Kwan, writing for mobilemag.com, asserts Kohjinsha "has a long standing tradition of creating some really powerful, but incredibly small tablet PCs".
The SX Series, which "brings all the boys to the yard", is a 2.8-pound (1.3 kg) model with dual camera, 1GB of RAM, a 60 GB hard drive, internal DVD burner, 1Seg TV tuner and a multicard reader, he said.
Priced at around $1,200 (£609), the model is powered by Atom and runs on Vista.
Meanwhile, Asus’s new Eee PC 900 laptop weighs just 0.99kg, has an 8.9-inch display and will be available in two models, IT Pro reports.
One will run Windows XP and feature a 12GB solid state hard disk, while the other will offer Linux and include a 20GB solid state hard disk.
