A laptop priced at just £50 has been launched by Jointech.
The J-Pro Mini Laptop comes with a seven-inch 800 x 480 resolution display, features a Samsung chipset and runs on Windows CE 5.0.
Available in black, pink, white and blue, the 680 gram device has 64 MB of internal storage which can be extended by up to 8GB via an external USB stick.
According to Jointech, the unit, which cam support mp3, WMA and WAV files, comes with built-in WiFi, has a rapid start-up time and boasts an "intuitive look and feel".
In other laptop news, Asus has shipped the latest addition to its popular Eee PC range.
Two versions of the Eee PC 1000 notebook are on offer - priced at £369 and £349 respectively - a Linux-based model with a 40GB flash solid state drive and a Windows-XP version with a 80GB hard disk drive.
