Fujitsu is "trying to sell beauty as well as brain" with the release of a limited pink gold edition of its LifeBook P8010E, one reviewer has claimed.
According to Cnet’s Mike Yamamoto, the model has "high-gloss finish and chrome hinges to go with its unusual colour".
Similar to the regular LifeBook P8010E, the limited edition version weighs less than three pounds (1.4 kilograms) and comes with a 12.1-inch widescreen, Intel Dual-Core processor, 250 GB hard drive and 2GB of memory.
According to Bornrich, the new model also includes 3G wireless technology and six hours worth of battery life.
Fujitsu claims that the laptop will "ensure that you’ll always be the centre of attention", Mr Yamamoto adds.
Meanwhile, Toshiba has released a limited-edition personalised laptop.
Finished in pearl white, the 13.3-inch Portege M800 includes a built-in webcam, DVD multidrive and comes with either the home or professional versions of Windows Vista.
