The latest notebook from Asus has both environmental and cost benefits, it has been claimed.
According to idealo.co.uk, the new 11.1-inch Asus U2E laptop has a cowhide exterior and contains an Intel Core 2 Duo ultra low voltage U7500 processor.
The LED technology used for the laptop’s WXGA display ensures that power consumption is low, which the site claims is "good for the environment, wallet, computer’s life span and working efficiency".
Users can also take advantage of a webcam, as well as WLAN and Bluetooth 2.0 technology.
Earlier this year, Asus launched the new Xona DX PCI Express 7.1 Audio Card, which it claimed provides far "cleaner" audio than "onboard" motherboard audio technology.
The device has an 116dB signal-to-noise ratio and features Dolby Home Theatre Technologies and DS3D GX to boost audio quality.
Asus has been included in the Business Week InfoTech 100 for ten years.
