A new review has claimed that HP’s new Pavilion dv5-1110em laptop is "easy to recommend".
Stephen Patrick of Pocket-lint.co.uk claimed that the portable computer system offers users "excellent build quality and comfort, while it also includes a "reasonable level" of multimedia features for an entertainment-orientated device.
He also suggested that its in-built Blu-ray drive is "a surprise" considering the model’s price tag of around £500, but suggested the display may not be the best to enjoy the technology on.
According to the expert: "The 15.4-inch Super-TFT screen is bright and colourful, although it’s not the sharpest panel we’ve seen.
"The 1280 x 800 pixel resolution won’t allow you to get the full benefit from high-definition movies, but there is an HDMI port in place - so you’ll be able to hook up an external HD TV."
Electronics company Panasonic recently confirmed that it has added a touchscreen option to its Toughbook 52 series of laptops.
