According to Dev Hardware the device offers an impressive compromise between performance and cost.
"In short, the Gateway P172X FX is a great alternative for those who do not want to lug around a desktop to their gaming functions," the news provider states.
The laptop features a 2.4GHz Intel Core Duo processor and an Nvidia GeForce 8800 graphics card as well as this, the device has a 17.1-inch screen.

The computer has a full-sized keyboard which the reviewer feels should suit even the most demanding gamer.
