Fujitsu-Siemens has launched its entry into the mini-laptop market.
Writing for vnunet.com, Daniel Robinson explains that the Amilo Mini Ui 3520 is the firm’s answer to devices such as the MSI Wind.
He says: "One way the Amilo Mini differs from other models is that it has clip-on covers that let owners change the colour of the system."
The device will come with a choice of a 60 or 120GB hard drive and is based on Intel’s 1.6 GHz Atom chip, he adds.
According to the manufacturer, the device will offer four hours of battery life, with a six-cell power source available from December offering the people the chance of longer run time, Mr Robinson states.
Meanwhile, ITProPortal.com reports that Dell is set to launch its low-cost laptop, the Dell Inspiron 910 tomorrow.
According to the news provider, the device will feature a 16GB solid state drive and a nine-inch screen.
