A leading computer manufacturer has begun to increase interest in its new desktop and laptop range.
Dell has created a teaser website for its new Ademo series of machines, which could be showcased by the company at the forthcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
According to reports, no official details have been released about the models, although a report in the New York Times has suggested the name will be given a super-thin laptop.
Talking to the newspaper, Dell’s vice-president of consumer sales and marketing, Michael Tatelman said: "I think we need to get some iconic products out there, so people associate Dell’s brand with other things.
"Namely, that’s goodbye to clunky, and hello to sleek."
Dell recently announced new plans to make the packaging of its desktop and laptop systems more environmentally-friendly.
The manufacturer hopes to cut packaging materials used on the computers by approximately ten per cent worldwide, while also ensuring 75 per cent of components included are recyclable by 2012.
