Asus launches new multi-media laptop

Asus launches new multi-media laptopAsus, perhaps best known for its range of mini-laptops, has launched a new multimedia laptop - and it is far from small.

The M70, now available in the UK, packs 1 terabyte of storage and has a built-in Blu-ray drive, reports Techradar.

As well as the huge hard drive, the laptop also features an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor, a graphics card with 1GB of VRAM and 4GB of DD2 memory.

The device also has a 17-inch high definition screen, meaning those Blu-ray movies will look their best.

"As with any self-respecting laptop these days, the M70 looks that part," the news provider states.

Meanwhile, the Times has given Asus’s Eee PC 901 the once over.

According to the newspaper, the device is good for people who want a portable laptop that allows them to access the internet while they are on the go.

However, the small screen and keyboard mean it will not suit everyone, it added.
