Asus is set to launch a Lamborghini-branded system which is also a high-end laptop, according to one expert.
Writing for About.com, Perry Longinotti, explains that the firm has not just put one of the car firm’s logos on a range of laptops and left it at that.
"Instead, the company has carefully crafted a high-end system wrapped in magnesium and leather, with remarkable attention to detail," he says.
The Asus VX3 features a 12.1-inch screen and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, he adds.
Overall the system performs well, although there are other similarly priced laptops available for less, Mr Longinotti points out.
However, fans of Lamborghini might not be put off by this fact, he notes.
Meanwhile, Cnet.com has described the Sony VAIO CR510 as a good laptop for those attending university.
The news provider points out that the 14-inch product offers a good balance between portability and performance.
