Computer manufacturer Asus has announced the launch of a new laptop featuring Intel’s Quad Core technology.
The company’s G71 model is designed specifically for gaming and includes a 17-inch Crystal Shine high brightness display, dual hard disk drives featuring 500GB of memory and 4GB of SDRAM.
It also features an integrated two-megapixel swivel webcam and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a Blu-ray drive.
"The G71 incorporates a host of entertainment features which offer gaming experiences like never before," the company explained in a statement.
"Altec Lansing speakers equipped with a subwoofer deliver excellent sound reproduction, further complimented by Dolby Home Theatre."
Details about the gaming laptop have come after the manufacturer also revealed details about a new mobile phone handset.
The P565 device includes an 800MHz processor and has been described by the company as the fastest business PDA phone currently available in the world.
It also features Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system.
