Electronics manufacturer Acer is expected to release a new laptop early next year, according to reports.
It has been claimed that Scott Lin, the president of the company, has revealed that a ten-inch Aspire One portable computer, based on 8.9-inch models launched this year, will be available from February or March.
According to Digitimes, the company’s head did not confirm any other details about what to expect from the device.
However, he added that other laptops will also be released by the firm over the next 12 months or so.
It has been confirmed that the computers will include 12.1, 13.3, 14.1 and 15.6-inch displays.
Pocket-lint.co.uk recently reported that Packard Bell’s iPower GX system is set to be launched in the UK.
It is thought that the model, which includes a 17-inch display, Intel’s Core 2 Duo Quad processor Q9100 and 640GB of storage space, will be released at the start of next year.
