Acer has launched its first ever gaming laptop and it is a winner, according to one review.
Mobile Computing News praises the Acer Aspire 7720Z-1A2g16Mi for both its power and looks.
"Overall, it’s a brilliant combination of performance and design that will more than satisfy the needs of any hardcore gamer," the news provider states.
According to the website the product is based on the firm’s "innovative" Gemstone design and has been made with "game freaks" in mind.
The laptop comes with an Intel Pentium Dual Core T2310 processor and 2GB of memory.
It also has a 17-inch widescreen display, as well as a 160GB hard drive.
The device also features a reader than can take data from SD, XD, MMC, MS and MS-pro cards.
Meanwhile, Cnet reports that Apple is set to release an updated version of its MacBook Air later this year.
According to the website, the updated notebook will feature improved processing power.
