The Aspire Onelaptop from Acer has been described in a national newspaper as "the perfect Christmas gift".
According to Claudine Beaumont of the Daily Telegraph, the portable computer’s ultra-portable design and nine-inch screen mean it could technically be regarded by many as "a stocking filler".
The writer has stated that the product includes a 120GB hard drive, as well as an-integrated webcam and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.
"It’s perfect for getting online when you’re on the move, and its diminutive but sturdy build means it can fit easily in a briefcase or handbag, and won’t give you a hernia if you have to carry it around all day," she added.
Reports recently emerged that Acer is planning to release a new portable computer based on the Aspire One next year.
According to Digitimes, the company’s president Scott Lin has claimed a ten-inch version of the device will be available from either February or March.
The firm is also expected to release further systems next year.
