The Acer Aspire One is top of the pops when it comes to the world of mini-laptops, according to one expert.
Writing for Computer World, Brain Nadel explains that he put four of the devices through their paces and it is the Acer computer which is his favourite.
"Only Acer’s Aspire One was just right, balancing size and weight with price and performance," he says.
While it is neither the smallest nor the latest computer on offer, it is still the one he would chose to take away with him as it has a battery life of five hours.
The other computers he looked at were the Sylvania G Netbook, Asus Eee PC 1000 and HP Mini-Note 2133.
Last week, Whatlatop.co.uk reported that Samsung is set to launch its own mini-laptop.
According to the website, while the device started as just a rumour, its existence has been confirmed by the release of official photos.
