The Acer Aspire 8920G could be a "fine choice" for those looking for a desktop replacement, it has been claimed.
Writing for PC Pro, Sasha Muller explains that while the laptop does not offer great gaming performance it should still suit some users.
She said: "Cutting edge gaming at the 18.4-inch display’s native resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 is out of the question, but if it’s a Blu-ray equipped desktop replacement you’re after, the 8920G is a fine choice."
The device was also awarded the magazine’s ‘recommended’ tag, as well as five stars out of a possible six.
Acer’s latest laptop is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and features 4GB of memory.
Yesterday, Slash Gear reported that Packard Bell has launched six new versions of its EasyNote series of notebooks.
According to the website the computers will feature AMD’s new Puma platform, including a Radeon graphics card.
