Consumers "can not do much better" than the NEC Multisync LCD3090WQXi TFT monitor, according to a review.
Paul Monckton from Personal Computer World said that the 30-inch monitor is perfect for people who want to use "colour-critical applications" or are simply looking for the "best-looking display possible".
The reviewer explained that when tested using a hardware calibrator, which removes inaccuracies in a screen, the LCD3090WQXi showed "virtually no change before and after calibration".
Also, the on-screen menu was praised for being easy-to-use and the monitor’s adjustable stand was found to be "robust" and can allow it to be rotated into landscape mode.
"Button functions are displayed directly above the buttons themselves, eliminating any confusion as to their function," added Mr Monckton.
"This is especially important considering 30-inch displays hardly ever have an on-screen menu."
PC Pro magazine recently gave Iiyama’s ProLite E2607WS monitor a "recommended" award after describing it as "rather stylish" in a review.
