Carrie-Ann Skinner from PC Advisor said that the device had a "sleek design" and applauded its 7.1kg weight.

She was "impressed" by the features on the latest multifunction photo printer from Lexmark, which include USB and wireless connectivity.

The X4875 also has PictBridge compatibility, meaning pictures can be printed directly from a digital camera without the need for a PC.

In a speed test, the device took 28 seconds to print a standard A4 image and according to the writer the "detail was clear and colours accurately portrayed".

"The choice of sources to print from and the excellent prints make the Lexmark X4875 a device we’d happily recommend," said the reviewer.

"Good design and wireless technology are an added bonus."

In a separate review, Brian Chen from Macworld.com described the Lexmark 560n multifunction printer as an "average overall performer".
