Kyocera’s FS-1300D Mono Laser Printer has been described as "neat and quick" in a review.
Simon Williams from trustedreviews.com said that the device would suite a small office environment, as it is a "moderately sized" printer.
In a speed test, the FS-1300D printed a 20-page text document in under 52 seconds, which equates to 23 pages per minute, which the reviewer claims gives Kyocera "the right to be quite cocky".
"Both text and graphics are light, not nearly as forceful as some other makes of laser printer," explains Mr Williams.
"They’re never light enough to start losing parts of characters, though, and this delicate touch gives text, in particular, a professional, almost letterpress quality."
The reviewer concludes that the device is a perfect example of a "reliable" and "easy-to-use mono laser printer".
PC Authority recently described another Kyocera printer, the FS-C5015N, as "reasonably well equipped" with a "highly impressive onboard web server".
