Canon’s i-Sensys LBP5100 colour laser printer has been praised in a review for its "good output quality".
Dave Mitchell from PC Pro says that the print quality of the device was good and during a number of tests the LBP5100 delivered a 12-page Word document in 58 seconds.
When tested on photos, the writer praised the "richer colours" produced with "virtually no banding" experienced on any of the documents.
"Print quality was good," explained Mr Mitchell.
"Text at all but the smallest sizes was crisp and sharp, while mono photographs showed good levels of detail with no banding."
The i-Sensys LBP5100 is available now in the UK and retails at around £190.
Rival printer manufacturer Epson unveiled its new multifunction printer earlier this week.
The Epson Stylus SX600FW is a printer, scanner, photocopier and fax device which is set to be launched on the UK market on September 1st.
