The Brother MFC-6490CW multifunction device (MFD) has been given a recommended award by Personal Computer World.
In a review by Will Stapley from the publication, the device was praised for producing "good quality" prints.
Text prints and scans were found to be impressive and the writer also said he was pleased by the quality of photo printing from the device.
During speed tests, the MFC-6490CW took two minutes to print ten pages of text documents and almost five minutes to produce a colour A4 photo.
"According to Brother, it’s the world’s first compact A3 wireless inkjet MFD," explains the reviewer.
"Calling it compact is stretching it a bit, but Brother has done a good job of keeping it as small as possible."
Brother recently expanded its range of printers by introducing the MFC-5890CN and MFC-5490CN onto the market.
